Occasionally, there may be a need to power cycle your Sonicu meter. Due to the presence of the internal battery simply unplugging the meter will not complete a full power cycle. To accomplish this, power needs to be completely removed.
Below is a detailed instruction on how to fully accomplish this.
**A Phillips screwdriver will be needed to perform this task.**
1. Unplug the AC adapter from the meter.
2. Remove the 4 Phillips screws on the front of the MVP series meter or gateway.
3. Remove the faceplate from the meter and set to the side.
4. Remove the internal battery for 30 seconds.
5. Restore power by plugging adapter back into meter, then reinstall the battery (as pictured in step 3 above). As soon as power is restored, the meter or gateway should start to boot up.
6. Once the boot up sequence is complete, the LED light on the meter should return to a static green.
7. Perform manual check in by holding the On/Off Transmit button down until the LED flashes green. This action should take about 4 seconds.
