This Document Will indicate the LED Diagnostic Codes for the MVP Series of Meters and Gateways.

General Issues SD Card Input
WiFi 900 MHz Cellular Ethernet

 

General Issues

 

No Connection

Error: Not able to connect to the network. Will see this for all radio types on connection failure. Follow the steps given for specific radio types.                             

Help Me Fix This

No ACK 

Error: Meter did not receive an acknowledgment from Sonicloud. Check network settings to ensure that our Meters have bidirectional communication on the network

Help Me Fix This

Connection  Successful

Success: The Meter was able to establish a connection to the server and send data

 

Sleeping Meter (Connected)

Success: The Meter is asleep, plugged in, and connected to the internet

 

Sleeping Meter (Disconnected) 

Error: The Meter is asleep, plugged in, and not connected to the internet

Help Me Fix This

 
SD Card Issues
No SD Card Found Error: No SD card found by the Meter.  Contact Support
Cannot Read/Write to SD Card Error: Not able to read/write to SD card.  Contact Support
No Configuration File Found Error: No configuration file found. Contact Support
Configuration File Parameters Inconsistent Error: Configuration on SD Card has been corrupted. Contact Support

 

Input Errors
Modbus Connection Error Error: Issue connecting to Modbus Meter. Check Modbus configuration parameters and Modbus Meter wiring Help Me Fix This
Error Reading Input #1 Error: Probe disconnected on Input 1. Check both the probe and the cable for any disconnects on the line Help Me Fix This
Error Reading Input #2 Error: Probe disconnected on Input 2. Check both the probe and the cable for any disconnects on the line Help Me Fix This
Error Reading Input #3 Error: Probe disconnected on Input 3. Check both the probe and the cable for any disconnects on the line Help Me Fix This
Error Reading Input #4 Error: Probe disconnected on Input 4. Check both the probe and the cable for any disconnects on the line Help Me Fix This

 

WiFi Connectivity
Reading WiFi SN Bootup: Will only see this when the Meter turns on for the first time  
Can't Read WiFi SN Error: There is an issue with the WiFi radio. Contact Sonicu Support for assistance Help Me Fix This
Initializing WiFi Radio Bootup: WiFi Radio is starting up and attempting to connect to the Wireless Access Point  
Error Initializing WiFi Radio Error: There is an issue with the WiFi radio making a connection to the Wireless Access Point.  Help Me Fix This
Attempting WiFi Connection Bootup: The Meter is attempting to connect to Wireless Access Point and make a connection to Sonicloud servers  
Unable to Connect to Access Point
Error: Meter was unable to connect to Sonicloud servers through the Wireless Access Point

900 MHz Connectivity
Reading 900 MHz SN Bootup: Will only see this when the Meter turns on for the first time  
Can't Read 900 MHz SN Error: There is an issue with the 900 MHz radio. Contact Sonicu Support for assistance Help Me Fix This
Attempting Gateway Connection Bootup: The Meter is attempting to connect to the Sonicu gateway  
Error Connecting to Gateway
Error: Meter was unable to connect to Sonicu gateway
Help Me Fix This

 

Cellular Connectivity
Reading Cell SN Bootup: Will only see this when the Meter turns on for the first time  
Can't Read Cell SN
Error: There is an issue with the cellular modem. Contact Sonicu Support for assistance. Help Me Fix This
Attempting Cellular Connection Bootup: The Meter is attempting to connect to Verizon's 4G LTE network  
Cannot Connect to Cellular Network
Error: The Meter was unable to connect to Verizon's 4G LTE network. Move the Meter to a different area.

 Ethernet Connectivity
Reading Ethernet SN Bootup: Will only see this when the Meter turns on for the first time  
Can't Read Ethernet SN Error: There is an issue with the Ethernet module. Contact Sonicu Support for assistance Help Me Fix This
Initializing Ethernet Module Bootup: Meter is attempting to establish an Ethernet connection  
Error Initializing Ethernet Module
Error: The Meter was unable to get an Ethernet connection. Ethernet configuration of the Meter does not match with the requirements of your network.
