MVP Legacy Support Letter

Dear Sonicu Clients:

At Sonicu we are committed to providing you with the best possible service and support. As part of this commitment, our comprehensive warranty policy provides support and protection to meet your monitoring needs for the life of your Sonicu hardware and cloud-based monitoring software (SoniCloud).

Legacy Hardware

When Sonicu is actively manufacturing or supporting a product, you can purchase a new monitoring subscription that will extend the warranty plan, renew it, extend it, or upgrade it at any time. When a product is no longer manufactured or supported, it is considered “Legacy”. If you have Legacy products, contact your Sonicu Representative to discuss an upgrade path that meets your needs and ensures that you can get support when you need it. Sonicu makes every reasonable effort to extend the product life cycle as long as possible. Sonicu support strives to offer you service and repair options for as long as knowledge, materials, and resources are available for Sonicu products.

Please Note: Your MVP series meters & 900MHz MVP gateways have a published End-of-Support life cycle date of April 1st, 2024.

What does that mean for your hardware?

  1. Your legacy hardware, if operational, may continue to function as expected on the SoniCloud software platform – Sonicu has no plans to remove support for functioning legacy equipment on the SoniCloud platform.
  2. If your legacy equipment fails such that you need support, repairs, or replacements, After April 1st, 2024, Sonicu Support will no longer be trained and reliably knowledgeable to assist with troubleshooting of legacy equipment. Repair & and replacement parts are no longer available.
