What to do when your Glycol Sensor is leaking

If at any point in time your glycol sensor starts leaking, please verify the lid is on tightly.  If the lid is loose, please tighten it.  If after tightening the lid, the sensor is still mostly full of glycol, and it appears to no longer be leaking, please proceed to use or keep using the sensor.

If the sensor is not leaking due to a loose lid, or if a significant amount of glycol has leaked out; please reach out to Sonicu Technical Support, or your Sonicu Customer Success Manager to determine if your sensor will be covered under a warranty replacement.

*Please Note* The type of glycol used in Sonicu Temperature Sensors is generally recognized as safe by the FDA.  Propylene glycol is well tolerated by the skin and shouldn't cause redness or irritation.
