      S-Series: How to use the Cancel Backfill Command

      1. Press the “User Button” for 2-4 seconds. (the green LED will flash twice to indicate the device is awake.)

           
      2. Wait for the LED to light up for 1-2 seconds indicating it has successfully connected to the SoniLink Hub.
      3. Open SoniCloud Mobile (download using the QR code)
      4. Go to settings at the bottom right on the mobile app.
      5. Select “Scan for S-Series Meters (NFC)”
      6. Click the S-Series Device type that is being installed
      7. Hold your phone to the meter to scan for the NFC chip (your phone must have NFC capabilities. This is the same function as Apply Pay, Samsung Pay, or Google Pay)
      8. Your phone will quickly scan for the NFC chip and you should now be connected to the S-Series meter.
      9. Select “Device Commands”.

      10.  Select “Cancel Back-filling”.



      The default backfill command should now be canceled and no stored data will be backfilled.
