Updating the Local Time for your SoniShield Display

It is possible to update the Time Zone on your SoniShield Display.  This capability allows flexibility as to where the Display is being used. For Multi-State Customers, who elect to transfer a meter and display from one state to another, it may be in a different local time zone.  Updating the Time Zone on a SoniShield Display is a simple process. Please follow the instructions below to complete adjusting the Time Zone:

 

1. Connect to the SoniShield Display via the SoniCloud Mobile App.

 

2. Once connected to the display, choose the option for "Full Configuration".

 

3. Under Full Configuration, scroll down to the "Display.txt" section.

 

4. The first option to update under "Display.txt" is "Timezone offset for local display". Update the time zone listed to the correct time zone for the meter and display's locations.  The list of correct time zones is provided below.   The time zone must be entered EXACTLY as it appears in this list. 

 

5. Once the updated time zone is entered, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Update Values".  It may take several minutes for the display to update.
