  • Replaceable built-in 590mAh battery with up to 3 years of battery life.  The battery has been pre-installed for your convenience.
  • IP-67 rated waterproof enclosure for harsh environment applications
  • Equipped with NFC for easy configuration with the SoniCloud Mobile App

Hardware Overview

This sensor is suitable for the following areas:

  • Narrow spaces or corner areas that would require small detection probes.
  • Drain pans, floor drains, pits, etc.
  • Locations where water will reach first or accumulate easily when a leak occurs.

There are two leak detection probes behind the device.  When the water covers both probes, the device will send alarms.

Placement of the Sensor:

  • Place the sensor in a location where water will reach first or where it is easy to accumulate when leaks are detected.
  • It is recommended to install multiple devices to ensure the proper coverage necessary for your space.

  1. Select location.
  2. Ensure the installation surface is smooth and free of debris.
  3. Apply the included 3M tape to the back cover.
  4. Remove the protective backing.
  5. Position the sensor on the wall or floor near the detection area, ensuring that the two leak detection probes are facing the detection area.

Note:  Do not touch the metal pins to metal objects to avoid errors in alarm reporting.

Replacing the Battery Power Supply

  1. Put a coin (or other tool with a suitable size) into the groove of the battery back cover, turn the battery back cover and remove it.
  2. Insert the battery into the sensor with the positive facing up. After inserting, the device will power on automatically.
  3. Put the battery cover back onto the device and tighten it.

Your S-Series Wireless Leak Detector has now been installed. Please follow the SoniClould mobile app instructions to activate your sensor and add it to the SoniCloud site.
